This Flat Top Chest on Chest is based on an original made in coastal Massachusetts or the islands, probably Nantucket, circa 1760-1780. The chest center drop may be unique. We believe it is a crab motif. While the highboy form is more popular, this chest on chest is similarly elegant and provides more storage than a highboy style chest. Pictured in Tiger Maple.
